STEM Scouts project selected for NASA research mission

WESTAMPTON - It started with thoughts of making pizza in space.

Emily Paulin, a participant in the Boy Scouts of America’s STEM Scouts program, wondered if people who eventually colonize Mars would be able to cook pizza.

The Rancocas Valley High School student and the other four high school freshmen who participate in the program went to work answering that question, and the end result was a winning experiment proposal they submitted to the Cubes in Space global research competition.
